A catch-all feature that is enabled for a particular e-mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. To put it differently, if you deactivate an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any misspelled address under the same domain, you will get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital if you are running a business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving spam emails, you can use the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filters so as to receive only authentic messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Website Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox without any difficulty if you’ve got a shared website hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom-created Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet astonishingly easy to use, and it will enable you to enable different options, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the email addresses that you have will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and next to each one you will find a mini "Catch-all" icon. Clicking it once will enable this feature, clicking it once more will disable it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already got another one with this option activated or if you have enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all feature can be enabled without difficulty in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you’ve created with the domain names hosted in your semi-dedicated server account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will notice a small logo conveniently located directly next to each of them. With only a mouse click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice provided that there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with the option already activated and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable this option through the contextual menu that will surface. If any of the conditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not answered, our system will warn you, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically.
