Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
We provide three different Linux distributions for the Operating System of our virtual private servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are among the safest and the most reliable OSs you can find and we offer all three rather than only one since we realize that you may want to set up some software with specific requirements with regards to the Operating System it shall run on. The latter is because each of the three Operating Systems has a huge support community behind it and there are various software applications you could install on the web hosting server. Your OS choice will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS in case you wish to use one and for that reason we offer multiple Control Panels too. In case you decide that you need a different OS, our tech support can quickly wipe the existing one and install the one that you want. We also offer an optional service to keep the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
The dedicated server solutions that we offer come with three different Operating Systems to pick from. They are all Linux release - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license fees, but they’re also considered to be among the most reliable and secure OSs. We provide three different ones for the reason that each of them is backed by a separate community. The packages which you can add on your hosting server are different and this may matter if you need to install some piece of software with specific requirements regarding the hosting environment. In this light, the hosting Control Panel that you can select for the dedicated server also depends on the Operating System that you will choose. You can select any of the three Operating Systems during the order process, but if needed, we can always set up the server once again with a different one upon your request. As an optional service that you could add to the plan at any time, we can update the OS on a regular basis to keep it as risk-free as possible.
