There are two services that you need for a functioning website - a domain and a hosting plan for it. Whenever you type the domain in your Internet browser, you see the content that’s uploaded inside the website hosting account, but if that domain name isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it's parked. In other words, the domain is registered and you're its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it could be forwarded to any other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain is that you can keep it and ensure that no one else will take it. In the meantime, it's not going to occupy a slot for a hosted Internet domain within your account. You can also park domains if you have a .com, for example, and you register domain addresses with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main site so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Shared Website Hosting

With each and every shared website hosting plan we offer you’ll be able to park as many domain names as you wish and unlike other companies, we do not have any fees for that. However, you can do this only for domain names which are registered through us since parking a domain is possible only with the registrar, and not through the host unless you have the two services with only one company. We've got a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can effortlessly park and un-park domains, select one of the templates that we provide and add custom text to it, or forward a domain address to a URL of your preference. If you host a parked domain, our system will change its name servers and set up a folder in the File Manager automatically. Additionally you can set filters and see only the parked or only the hosted domains, which will allow you to manage them fast and easy.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we offer you are going to have the freedom to park as many domain names that are registered with our company as you want. Since only the registrar company can offer a parking feature, you can't park domain names that are only hosted on our advanced cloud hosting platform. Through the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you are going to be able to park and un-park domains with only a couple of clicks and filter all domains that you have by their status, for better control. We offer a number of different templates you can use and if you prefer, you could also include some custom text to any of them. If you want to un-park a domain and host it inside your account, you will not have to do anything manually - our system will set up a domain folder inside the File Manager section and will create all the needed DNS records so that the domain address works properly and starts loading the content which you upload for it on our servers.
